A time of planning

A time of planning

Last week was our final Backyard Cut Flower Garden Course class. This upcoming week our Farmyard Share members will pick up their weekly hauls from our partnering farms for the last time. Our flower shares have wrapped up, leaving a few remaining dahlias in the Farm Stand.

It's easy to feel like things are slowing down. We have fewer programs running right now, and some of our collaborations have quieted for a time. But, the cooler months are actually not a time of rest for us, rather a time of planning. They are months of arrangement, intentionally seeking out new collaborations and partnerships, and having purposeful conversations with our team to better ourselves.

We may not have summer fruits and blooming dahlias, but we always have our classic greens that you all know and love. If you haven't joined our weekly greens shares, now is a good time to sign up! These go week-to-week, with add-ons thoughtfully hand-picked by our team for you. Our Farm Stand is staying open through the winter, with bags of greens, herbs, fresh bread, yummy salad dressings, and more. We also have exciting collaborations in the works, new products that will start showing up in the Farm Stand, and a holiday wreath workshop with our friend of Beehive Floral Co that still has some open spots.

Fall and winter are not a time of quiet on the farm. It's a time of intentional living, with the people and communities that are most important.
