Farm Kitchen Assistant

Our small but mighty team at Snuck is looking for a new memeber of our farm kitchen team. We need someone who is ready and willing to roll up their sleeves, get to work and have fun working in our thriving small business. This is a fast-paced, bustling farm environment; everyone is expected to go above and beyond, no matter the task. We are looking for someone who is passionate about all aspects of a kitchen including cooking, preparing food, packaging, and cleaning.

  • Self-starter with a high level of personal responsibility & job ownership
  • Exercises exceptional time management to ensure that all duties are completed in a timely manner
  • Has excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Can work in groups with enthusiasm to cultivate a positive work environment
  • Has a keen sense of taste & smell, the ability to recognize subtle nuances in flavors, and a natural skill to adjust the flavors of a dish as needed
  • Ability to describe flavor profiles to staff and help train and refine their palates
  • Loves good food (especially greens!)


  • Complies with and strictly upholds all food health and safety regulations, including requirements for food preparation areas and food safety plans
  • Will help complete the food prep and cooking
  • Maintains an inventory of materials needed for food preparations, packaging, labeling, and presentation
  • Will assist our kitchen staff and guide them to deliver quality food on time
  • Will perform other miscellaneous tasks required by the kitchen manager
  • Will train for other farm tasks as needed


  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year experience in kitchen, commercial or otherwise (Certification from a culinary school or degree in restaurant management is a plus.)
  • Food Handler’s Permit
  • The ability to stand for extended periods & work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to operate cutting tools and other kitchen equipment
  • Keep the kitchen area tidy and clean, using the ‘clean as you go’ approach to be more effective and efficient
  • Experience with recipe management
  • Ability to lift 30+ pounds
  • Driver’s license and ability to commute to work

Tuesday through Saturday
30-40 hours per week
