Sourdough in the Fall: October 2024

Date: Wednesday, October 16th 2024
Time: 6:00PM-8:00 PM
Type: Demonstration

Sourdough has become more than a tasty loaf of artisan bread, but a way of life, and something that we incorporate into all of our everyday recipes. This natural leavening agent is used to slowly raise our baked goods, but also can be used in a variety of quick baked goods.

In this demonstration style workshop, Lori from Lo's Kitchen, will showcase how to use sourdough in all of your baking this season. She will explain how to nurture a sourdough starter and how to use it in a variety of recipes both using it as a leaven and discard form. The menu will include a variety of seasonal baked goods, including cinnamon pull apart bread, flaky biscuits with spreads, and a seasonal cookie - all made with sourdough starter!

You will leave with a hearty sourdough starter, recipes to replicate at home, a bag of Snuck Greens, and the confidence to integrate sourdough into all of your everyday baking.
