Learn to craft the perfect Neapolitan pizza, sourdough style. Homemade pizza using natural, slowly fermented dough fuels our bodies and takes us back to the original form of leavening our bread doughs.
In this hands-on workshop, students will work in groups of two to make and share a batch of dough, then will individually shape, flavor, and throw into a Gozney pizza oven. Lori Vaughn, from Lo's Kitchen, will show you how to perfect the pizza making process, make a homemade pizza sauce, source the best ingredients, and feel confident replicating the experience at home.
We'll be making traditional margarita pizzas along with a couple seasonal specialty pizzas demonstrated by Lori. Enjoyed together alongside a fresh salad using Snuck Greens.
You will leave full, with pizza dough to take home to practice with, sourdough starter, a bag of Snuck Greens, and confidence to make sourdough pizza part of your regular family menu. No previous sourdough experience is required.
