Take home your own personal pot of planted herbs to grow with you this winter and beyond. Our experienced horticulturist will guide you through the essential techniques and practices needed to successfully cultivate herbs in containers, regardless of your gardening expertise. All materials needed for the workshop, including pots, soil, seeds/seedlings, and workshop handouts, will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
What to expect:
- Create and take home your own personal pot of planted herbs to grow with you this winter and beyond.
- Learn all about the different kinds of herbs and how to use them
- Learn what varieties grow well together and where to plant them in your garden
- Discover how to choose the right containers that suit both your space and your herbs' requirements ensuring your plants have room to thrive
- Understand the importance of soil composition and learn how to create the perfect potting mix for your herbs
- Master the art of proper watering, sunlight exposure, and feeding to ensure your herbs flourish. Get insider tips on preventing common pests and diseases through natural methods.

The majority of herbs used for this class will come from the grounds of Snuck Farm and other local farms and artisans in the community.
Workshop Cancelation Policy
Since seating is very limited, we are not offering refunds or credit to another workshop, once a workshop has been purchased.
However, if you are no longer able to attend the workshop, you can email us with the name of the person to whom we should transfer the ticket.
