Sourdough Doughnuts: April 2024

Tue, April 23 | 6:30-8:30pm
Snuck Farm, Pleasant Grove, UT.

The idea of using natural yeast is quickly expanding from the roots of the iconic loaf of artisan bread, and becoming part of everything we bake. Due to its unbeatable taste and health benefits, Lori, from Lo's Kitchen, has made it her mission to use the art of sourdough in just about anything - including doughnuts!

In this workshop, you will learn more about how to use and take care of a sourdough starter and take part in making sourdough doughnuts from beginning to end. Lori will demonstrate how to make the dough, then workshop members will receive their own small batch of dough to roll out, cut, fry, and glaze.

What to expect:
- Small class setting for an enriched hands-on experience
- Demonstration on taking care of a starter and creating a perfect dough
- Hands on practice rolling out the dough, frying, and glazing your own doughnuts.
- Take home a starter from Lori's original starter and a bakery box filled with a small assortment of donuts made by you!
- Delicious tasting in a fun setting with good company
