Members-Only Soap Making Workshop with Olio Soap

Greens aren’t just for your table. They also offer wonderful benefits for your skin! In this exclusive members-only workshop with Olio Skin Care, we’re bringing the best of both worlds together and turning some of our tasty basil into skin-enriching soap. We’re happy to be able to offer this class at-cost as a thank you to all of you who prioritize bringing our greens into your homes each week.

In this introduction to cold-process soap making, experts from Olio will guide you as you turn natural ingredients into nourishing soap. We’ll be using dried basil grown here at Snuck and Wasatch mountain water for a truly local skincare experience. We’ll be combining these ingredients with basil essential oil, shea butter, sunflower oil, a small amount of castor, and optional french green clay to create a skin-softening bar that smells delicious and lathers well. At the end, you’ll have a 1-pound bar of well-rounded soap to take home and let cure. In just a few weeks, you’ll be able to cut it into bars and enjoy!
