2023 Summer Kids Farm Camps

Ages 6-7: 11am-1pm
Join us this summer as we open up the farm for a 3-day children’s camp where we will understand where the food we eat comes from, learn the importance of farming, and release creative energy by experimenting with nature. This is a perfect opportunity for kids to get their hands dirty while learning hands-on farming experience. We will be spending each day on a different part of the farm: Gardening, Flowers, and Farm Animals. Kids will have a project they worked on in the camp to take home with them each day.
We are passionate about teaching the importance of why we farm and help kids understand why the quality of food is crucial for our well-being. Each day children will explore the farm, investigate the bountiful environments of plant and animal life, and discover the wonders of our natural world through hands-on art, science-based activities, group games and more.
What to expect:
- Teach and empower kids about farming.
- Understand where food comes from and how it grows
- Learn how to care, love, and utilize farm animals including alpacas and chickens
- Opportunity to get their hands dirty, use their natural curiosity and gain a love for mother nature.
- Tour the farm and learn about hydroponic growing
- Take home farm fresh eggs, fresh flowers, and a plant to grow at home.
Workshop Cancellation Policy
Since seating is very limited, we are not offering refunds or credits to another workshop once a workshop has been purchased. Please make sure you are able to attend before purchasing your tickets.
However, if you are no longer able to attend the workshop, you can email us with the name of the person to whom we should transfer the ticket.
